That was no accident. People interested in Martha's Vineyard (plus a number of 'keywords') could learn about your business long before their trip begins. Think about that.

Now, the 'Geographic Location' of your ad on the Pixel-Ad Map need not correspond to the physical location of your business. Any place on the map associates your business with the 'Vineyard Experience'. However, putting your ad in a specific 'Geographic Area' CAN add additional impact. So, if you see a space you like, say Edgartown Harbor, or Gay Head, East Chop, or OB, GRAB IT, because I'm not going to move someone else's ad for you.

Here are the Terms and Conditions for advertising on the
Vineyard Wizard.com Pixel-Ad map:

* The minimum purchase is $100 (100 pixels), and the maximum purchase is $10,000 (to preserve the graphic's diversity)

* When you 'buy' my pixels you will not 'own' any part of the homepage or VineyardWizard.com, but rather you are granted the right to submit an image and link which will then be published on the homepage in the space you've paid for.

* You cannot change the image or link once you have submitted them, so you must be sure of the image & link you want on the homepage, which will be there for at least 2 years. The only exception is if you have a strong reason why you need a change to your image/link, eg. your site no longer exists, major structural change to your site, lawsuits, etc. Let me know, but please don't try to change the image/link on a whim, because I'll be too busy.

* Once payment is received, and your image & link have been accepted for publication by VineyardWizard.com, the sale is final.

* The site and homepage will be online for at least 2 years (starting from the day it's posted on and linked from the VineyardWizard.com Pixel-Ad Map), I'll email you a reminder at 100 weeks, 104 weeks, 106 weeks, 107 weeks, and 108 weeks. If you do not re-commit for another term, your image & link will be removed from the VineyardWizard.com Pixel-Ad Map at 108 weeks plus one day from the date of posting)

* No obscene/offensive/adult images/links will be accepted, and I decide what is appropriate for my site. If you submit an image or link that is rejected, you will have the opportunity to provide an alternative, otherwise your money will be refunded and you will lose your pixel space.

* If your link is accepted and you later change the content of the linked site to show offensive/obscene/adult material then your link will be removed until you provide a new one, and you will not be entitled to a refund of any kind for the link downtime.

* If for whatever reason in the future you want your image and link removed from the homepage, you can do that, but you will not get a refund and the pixel space will become available again.

* Images must be the exact size you have paid for (eg. 100 pixels = 10x10 pixels)

* Images must be in GIF or JPEG format, and a reasonable file size.

* Images must NOT be animated.

* Links must be to web pages only and begin with http://

* You must have the authority to provide the image and link for the website you submit

* Funds must be fully recieved and cleared before your pixels go live on the homepage

* There might be occasional downtime for site maintenence but I'll try and keep these to a minimum.

* Once you have ordered and the funds have cleared (eg. in my PayPal or bank account), I will aim to get your pixels online within 24-48hrs (but please have patience if it 'blows up' & I get a lot of response in a short period. I'll make it up to you.)
